The Head Coaches will conduct a clinic in the morning and coach a team in full-field games in the afternoon. A Division III student-athlete will assist each head coach during the lacrosse sessions. The full-field games will be officiated by rated umpires from the area.
A panel of Division III student-athletes and coaches will answer questions submitted by the participants. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a deeper discussion about the collegiate experience at the Division III level with Division III coaches and student-athletes in a small group setting.
This event is a great opportunity for students who do not play on a club team to be evaluated by many Division III coaches.

Patty Kloidt is in her 17th year as the Head Coach at Hamilton College. A former Division I Goalkeeper at Penn State University, she has completely adopted the Division III model and philosophy of collegiate athletics.
Her coaching career began at Amherst College while earning a Masters Degree at Smith College. She came to Hamilton after coaching four years of soccer and lacrosse at Le Moyne College where she lead the newly created Division I lacrosse program to its first ever MAAC Conference Championship and a birth in the 16 team, 2002 NCAA Division I tournament.
Kloidt took over the Hamilton program in 2003 and amassed a record of 192-88 in 16 seasons on College Hill. Along with five straight Liberty League Championships ('07-'11), she lead Hamilton to win its first ever NCAA Division III National Championship in 2008 and has taken Hamilton to three NCAA Final Fours (08-10). Kloidt is a four- time Empire Region and Liberty League Conference Coach of the year. She is the 2008 NCAA Division III National Coach of the Year. Since joining the NESCAC in 2012, the Continentals enjoyed their best finish in 2017 with an 8-2 record and tie for first place in the NESCAC conference standings.
The collective success of The D3 Experience coaching staff is founded on a combination of lacrosse knowledge and the philosophy of Division III athletics. Student-athletes are encouraged to study abroad, play a second sport and engage in the numerous clubs or activities on campus. The beauty of Division III is the student can immerse herself into the life of the college and play the sport she loves.
The co-curricular mentality of Division III athletics provides a healthy addition to the academic life within the small college setting. There are numerous life lessons obtained in the “lacrosse classroom” of our Division III coaches, many of whom are excited to join you at The D3 Experience. Our coaching staff includes wonderful mentors who develop student-athletes in many facets of sport including leadership, effective communication, accountability and compassion for others. All great qualities to enjoy a well-rounded life.
